SaturDAY AUGUST 22

11:00 pm

Late Night Comedy returns to Gussapolooza — bringing together stand-up comics, storytellers, offbeat personalities, and unforgettable late-night energy beneath the festival lights. After a full day of music, art, workshops, and connection, our comedy stage becomes a gathering place to unwind, laugh hard, and experience the beautifully weird side of festival culture.

Expect raw talent, unexpected moments, crowd interaction, and performances that range from clever and thought-provoking to wonderfully chaotic. Whether you’re a longtime comedy lover or just wandering in after a set, Late Night Comedy is always one of the festival’s most memorable experiences.

jeff faulkner

Jeff Faulkner is very married. Very. Married. He is also a 45 year old teenager who is terrified of the real world.

Born in London, ON, attended school in Oshawa, ON and now residing in Barrie, ON; Jeff has had access to some of the worst our species has to offer. He combines those experiences with a lifetime of questionable decision making and the result is what some have described as “a mid-life crisis before our eyes’. You won’t feel any smarter for having seen Jeff perform, but you won’t forget it either.

Follow him @FaulknerComedy to find out where the next meltdown will take place.

Jay Ellis

Beginning his career in 2022, Jay Ellis has quickly climbed the ranks in Central Ontario comedy. Jason has shared his unique observational humour on shows all around Central and Southern Ontario, from the Bruce Peninsula to Dorset to Toronto to Niagara and everywhere in between. His observational style has made him a favourite on comedy shows throughout the region, including with Yuk Yuk’s.

Jay has opened for many of Ontario’s top comics, including Marc-Anthony Sinagoga, Mike Rita, Darren Frost, and more.

Jay has a passion for using comedy for good and has produced several local comedy shows raising thousands for local charities under the banner of Do Something Comedy.

Daniel Shaw

Winner of Corus Entertainment’s Funniest Canadian, Daniel Shaw has been entertaining audiences across Canada for 10 years. Whether performing in comedy clubs, theaters, or festivals, Daniel’s disarmingly absurd views on life and parenting keep audiences laughing and slightly concerned. His debut album, “Parental Guidance,” is available on all streaming platforms and being played on SIRIUS XM. Having shared the stage with some of Canada’s greatest comedians, including Scott Thompson, Kenny vs. Spenny, and Rick Mercer, Daniel is ready to carve out his own path—or at least find a way to escape his toddler for an evening.
