Why Volunteer?
Our volunteers are what make Gussapolooza feel like Gussapolooza. You're part of the crew that builds it, runs it, and celebrates it. You'll be on the grounds before most people arrive and still standing when the last song ends.
3 days at the Georgian Bay Steam Show Grounds. 48 acres of music, art, camping, and community. You'll meet people you'll still be friends with years from now.
We ask for your time. In return, you get full access to the festival and become a part of something that matters to a lot of people.
Students 14β17 require a parent or guardian signature on the waiver.
Complete a single 4-hour shift and your day pass is covered. Volunteer across multiple days and you earn a full weekend pass.
We provide official documentation for Ontario high school community involvement hours.
Depending on your role, you'll work side by side with artists, crew, and the people who put this thing together.
If you're staying the weekend, tent camping is available on site. RV spots are limited and must be purchased separately.

This will be my fourth year volunteering at Gussapolooza. The experience of helping an event that makes lives better melts away the woes of life's reality. It's like I'm in another world. There's a very special positive energy unlike any other, and my reset button is pushed until the next year.
Being a volunteer at the festival allowed me to meet amazing people and contribute to an event that brings so much happiness to families.
I loved every moment of volunteering at Gussapolooza. It's a wonderful way to give back and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.
