Hailing from the vibrant Barrie/Toronto music scene, Cudbear is a hard rock trio that masterfully blends elements of grunge, punk, and alternative rock. The band creates their distinctive sound by melding calmness with raw ferocity to deliver a thrilling auditory experience. With sudden changes in temper and melody, Cudbear keeps the listener on the edge of their seat.

Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Nirvana, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, and Slipknot, as well as contemporary bands such as The Dirty Nil, FIDLAR, Wavves, and Tigercub, Cudbear crafts music that resonates with both nostalgia and modernity.

Last year, they made waves with the release of their EP THINK, which showcased their dynamic range and songwriting prowess. Their performance at the Gussapolooza Music Festival earned them the Fan Favourite award, further solidifying their place in the local scene. Cudbear celebrated their first tour of Ontario, playing in some of their favourite cities across the province.

In 2025, Cudbear released their highly anticipated sophomore album, PURPLE, and will take the stage as headliners at Gussapolooza 2025. Their live shows are a captivating blend of chaos and intimacy, where the band connects with the audience through their powerful performances.
