The Blues Emergency

Main Stage
Saturday, September 14 8:00pm

The Blues Emergency is a renegade band of misfits channeling original music that is stylistically and sonically fitting for the ears of your mama and her misbehaving posse. Their sound is hard, cranked up, blues-rock infused with the elements of stoner-rock and psychedelia. Socially conscious lyrics, hard hitting guitar riffs, coupled with raspy vocals – the band packs a punch.

THE TORONTO BAND consists of Andy Du Rego (vocals), Emir Halilovic (guitar),  John Anthony Brand (bass), & Marshall Baglieri (drums).   2023 / 2024 has brought a new wave of creativity to the band. Their latest rocker “Quicksand” has clocked in over 100,000+ views on YouTube , and like their previous release  “A Love Revolution” has been featured on 94.9 The Rock’s Generation Next and received great reviews on 102.1 The Edge, Spill Magazine, and other music review sites worldwide accompanied by a music video by up-and-coming filmmaker Vincenzo Buggea.

The Band took home the “Best Rock Performance” award at the 2024 I.P.M.A. Awards held in Providence Rhode Island for their song “A Love Revolution” . They were also awarded the Rising Sun Award at the 2023 Gussapolooza Music Festival, an award given to recognize a band who judges felt would shape the future of the industry and inspire generations to come. Currently working on finishing their new E.P. being released later this summer the band looks forward to headlining this year’s Gussapolooza Festival.
