Gussapolooza Music festival is a one of kind 3 day interactive non-stop extravaganza and celebration of Canadian independent music and art. The festival dedicates itself to emerging artists showcasing over 70 performances on 3 stages from some of Canada’s best up and coming musical talents. Each year the festival draws in music lovers, film makers, painters, craft makers, radio stations, music curators, indie labels, small businesses and many others making a magical networking ecosystem for all. Finding a brand new home this year at the Georgian Bay Steam Show Grounds in Cookstown, Ontario the festival is set to have its biggest and best year yet.

Gussapolooza Music Festival offers a wide variety of different genres including Rock bands, Country singers, Hip-hop artist and Singer/Song writers from all over Canada to showcase their original music for a chance to win the festivals grand prizes including cash, radio air time, music gear, studio time, and much more. At this all age’s event, attendees get to vote for their favorite acts, meet the artists, and discover new music. Festival goers enjoy a full weekend of RV and tent camping, music, comedy, street performers, food trucks, beer tents, arts, crafts, vendors, workshops and more. Artists are promoted on the festival website www.gussapolooza.com and across all social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook @gussapolooza prior to the festival so music lovers may sample and discover their favorite acts to support.

Gussapolooza Music Festival dedicates itself to helping emerging artists. In 2022, Gussapolooza Music Festival celebrates its fifth year boasting a wide variety of entertainment, excitement and fun for the whole family. The festival began as a backyard bash for a few local indie bands and very quickly turned into something much more special. “So many new people and bands showed up we had to name everyone Gus”. Gussapolooza instantly became the name of the festival for up and coming indie bands looking to be discovered. The festival now offers essential resources for independent artists and vast networking opportunities. Gussapolooza Music Festival takes place September 16th – 18th 2022 at The Georgian Bay Steam Show grounds in Cookstown, Ontario Canada. The event ground was chosen for its central location and convenience for bands and festival goers traveling from Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Ontario. The ground boasts RV campsites, showers, barns and is just minutes from downtown Cookstown and the 400 highway.
